Holiday Wishes on LJ.

So I kind of forgot about this, but whatever. I finally found something that I have to talk about.

I found the coolest livejournal community in the world last night. I'm loving it more than OhNoTheyDidnt at the moment, to be honest (and I love ONTD). It's Holiday Wishes.

I love it. You post a wishlist of up to 10 items (and you can "cheat" for tangible stuff by putting an amazon wishlist or something as one of your items), and people send you the stuff whether it be online or through the mail. All the community asks in return is that you try to grant other wishes.

I'm already making lists of people to send cards to, and I'm hoping to add a little something extra by throwing in gift cards or something if I have the extra money.

I just absolutely LOVE this community and all it entails. The fact that people are willing to spend even just $.42 on a stamp to send a card to a complete stranger is pretty heartwarming.

Oh, the side effects of boredom.

I suppose my first post should be about what this blog is... well, about. So, basically, I'm bored and I always thought it'd be fun to have a random blog to post about stuff I like. Not what I do everyday (trust me, it'd put you to sleep), but rather, just stuff that makes me happy and I think is awesome.*Points to header* Hence the "things Sarah finds really awesome" bit, eh?

Also, I have a couple of friends who started blogs on here and it looked like fun. Yes, I'm a bandwagoner.

So here's the deal: My name is Sarah, I'm 17 years old (18 in December), and like I said, I'm bored. And... I like a lot of things. Among them being music and stuff I generally find amusing (which is a lot). Oh, and Christmas. I live for Christmas. I won't tell you all about stuff I like/dislike, because I'm sure you'll eventually be able to tell by what is(n't) on here.
